back to summer before i go.

before i leave for nicaragua (tonight), i thought i would take some summery pictures in honor of the warmth i am heading into (it also just happened to get sunny here). these are thrifted shorts, old navy tee shirt, and thrifted shoes. enjoy!

if you haven't noticed, i am in fall/winter mode. i don't think i am going to put much more summer outifts, if any, back on here. i really like this outfit, its REALLY WARM! besides that, its cute. i loveeee rainboots...and if you havent noticed, i love these leggings too. the fleece is oldnavy, the skirt is urbanoutfitters, leggings from target, boots are "chooka(?)".

i keep wanting it to be winter.

i was bored and remembered i could always pull out my "handy" fingerless gloves and drink some hot cocoa. both gloves are from urban outfitters.

i am about to leave on a trip to nicaragua! i will probably post..like...one more outfit? then i will put some pictures up after my trip (two weeks long). its going to be great!

let us skip ahead a few months into the cold, candy-colored winter.

i was a little stumped on what to do for my next outfit. so i decided to jump ahead a few months. it happened to clear up and get sunny RIGHT before i went outside for pictures, go figure. coat, old navy, skirt, old navy (acctually a top), tights, old navy, leg warmers, knit by gradma : ), boots...not sure.

sweater vests are SO not nerdy.

before i go to the movies tonight (i'm seeing "the proposal" i hope it's good) i thought i'd do some more blogging and photo taking. i am a blog-aholic. vest is old navy, tee is from nostankyou.com, shorts are target kids : ), and boots are nike's! i love me some sweet nike's!

yes, it is the time to bring out the psychedelic dress. this dress, like a lot of my clothes, used to be my moms and so did the shoes (the shoes still are, but stealing from her closet is a habit i don't need to break.). i LOVE this dress. the dress is Paul Et Duffier, the shoes are Yves Saint Laurent.

ok, lets get "artsy".

this is what happens when you take a camera out into the yard with your moms old dress on, and one lone chair. i tried being artsy and creative..thats hard to do when you have to put the camera on timer and run into position, all while looking like you are a princess. (i'm not sure if i should put more pictures on?)

sometimes simple just beats all.

for some reason, i have a lot of blue dresses in my closet. have you noticed? blue and grey. how sad. i need some happier clothes : ). but theres always a yellow vest to brighten things up. this is an oldnavy dress, oldnavy vest (someone likes oldnavy), oldnavy tank, and diva diva shoes.
